- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Dr. Perry did Lasik surgery on me in 2004. I was farsighted, had astigmatisms in both eyes and was 50. Immediately after surgery I could see great! He performed mono vision, so that I could read out of one eye. I took a little adjustment, but my eyes have only seemed to get better until this year. It seems I am now suffering from "old age" eyes and need readers for the first time this year. I now live in Raleigh, so I went to another ophthalmologist for a check up. They commented on how well my eyes were done and I'm happy to report I still have 20/25 vision after all this time. If you want a great surgeon, he is one! His staff was kind and helpful throughout the procedure. One word of caution, he's not the greatest communicator and they are busy. Be prepared with all the questions you have and don't hesitate to ask if something doesn't make sense to you. My experience is that he is excellent and contentious, but may not explain everything he's doing.November 15, 2017by Anna Ladd
