  Van Tanner PA-C is amazing! I have been struggling with health issues for quite some time now and have seen several doctors. He is the first one to take my concerns seriously and try to help me. He is easy going and makes you feel that you and your health are VERY important to him. He is very welcoming of me and my family/friends and I greatly appreciate his help. His nurse is also very genuine and kind. She was able to make me laugh and comfort me when I wasn't feeling my best. All-in-all great experience!

  I was highly disappointed with this practice today. It was recommended by friends and family so when I recently got a new job and a new insurance I choose this practice for my PCP. Their new patient intake appointments are several months out. From what I remember this appointment is just to meet the doctor and does not include any procedures such as physicals; causing you to make another appointment, take off work again and additional co-pays. I had an emergency today, not ER worthy but definitely something that needed to be taken care of same day and they refused to see me because I was not an "established patient". They recommended that I go to Urgent Care; a $87 copay instead of the $15 copay. They said that they would've been able to see me if I was an established patient. This policy is ridiculous in the case of an emergency and not very welcoming. I rather go to a practice that doesn't turn you away and practices more welcoming policies. So if you are thinking of joining this practice and will be needing to make an appointment sooner rather then later, I highly recommend you look elsewhere. Their new patient appointments (only to meet the doctor) are 3 months away!!!!

  I've been going to this group for many years and have never had problems like those described, BUT the website and sign-in changes are poorly done, a maze to figure out and I'm going to have to use the phone to get my new prescription since i can't sign in with my current user I.D. and password.
