  Had the worst experience today! Took my dog in for a booster shot and possible skin issue that showed up the night before. The vet was rude and refused to talk to me or look at my dog's skin issue. The walls were thin there and I heard all the rude comments she exchanged with her assistant. They wanted me to set up another appointment aside from the one I was already there for! Total waste of my time. My dog is a shelter dog and doesn't do well at the vet. But let's be honest, who likes going to see the doctor? This vet didn't even bother giving him treats or making him feel comfortable. She didn't even see my dog until after the assistant had him tied up behind the door! She is really rude and unkind to animals. I don't know why she even became a vet! I'm never taking my dog to this place ever again. I've taken my dog there before and the older vet is great with him but the short brunette vet is the worst. If you get her, run.

  I am from out of town and came by for an emergency visit. The staff was so nice and genuinely caring. They also considered the cost in everything they did but did not compromise the care. I am SO happy that I went here, they truly are life savers!

  Best Vet in the Durham! I switched from Banfield to Oak Grove and cannot believe the difference in service. Everyone in the office loves what they do and it is evident in how they do their jobs. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a real, small town vet who loves what they do.
